US says Mexico will address American airline access concerns in Mexico City
The U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that Mexico has agreed to address American concerns regarding airline access to Mexico City's airport, following months of discussions. This agreement comes after the U.S. revoked approval for 13 routes by Mexican carriers due to previous flight cancellations. While viewed as a step in the right direction, the U.S. will maintain restrictions on Mexican airlines until the promised reforms are implemented.
