The Lombardi, who’s going to win the Big Game?

The biggest game of the NFL season kicks off on February 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

To mark this event, Morpher has launched a new market where you can take a position on who will win the Big Game.

How It Works?

As we approach the Big Game, you’ll be able to choose from the remaining teams in the playoffs. However, if your chosen team gets eliminated, your position will drop to zero.

In the Morpher office, we have a few passionate NFL fans. One of them happens to be a NY Giants fan, so, well… his position hit zero on Day 1 of the season.

Ok, Back the winning team.

This market works similarly to our U.S. Presidential Election market, where positions dynamically adjust as contenders get eliminated.

The Big Game Is More Than Just Football

The victories won’t just happen on the field. This is one of the biggest marketing spectacles of the year.

Millions tune in, not just for the football, but for the entire experience. And if you think about it, the winners aren’t just on the scoreboard.

So, what else keeps people watching? Three things (or four if you’re a Taylor Swift fan):

1. The Halftime Show – “Sporting Distraction Either Side of Halftime”

Kendrick Lamar is set to return after his 2022 halftime appearance with a number of legends. He’ll be lighting up the stage, backed by Apple Music (Apple Inc.), the presenting sponsor.

2. The Ads – “The Commercial Smackdown”

Let’s be honest, some people watch just for the commercials. A member of our team admits that, despite knowing nothing about football, she never misses the ads.

Why not take a trip down memory lane with some of the most iconic ads from past years? RIP Betty White.

3. The Food – “Excuse to Eat Your Weight in Chicken Wings”

The Big Game is also the biggest day for wing consumption.

We Googled the number and, let’s just say it is a scary amount…1.45bn wings will be devoured.
